Spaghetti Carbonara

Spaghetti Carbonara
29 May 2024

Carbonara is one of Rome's four classic pastas. The name comes from the ground black pepper, which resembles particles of charcoal on the plate (in Italian, “carbon” means coal). What sets carbonara apart from other pasta types is the egg, hard cheese, bacon, and black pepper. Only eggs and cheese are needed to make a delicious and smooth carbonara sauce for spaghetti carbonara, which has become a classic Italian dish.
