Sift the flour into a bowl for the dough. Add the egg, sugar, and oil. Add water little by little and knead until you get a soft dough. Roll the dough into a ball and cover it with a cloth. Let it rest at room temperature for half an hour.
Wash and drain the apples for the filling. Cut them into cubes without peeling them. Roll them in breadcrumbs. Melt the sugar and butter in a pan. Add the apples, walnuts, and currants. Roast for 10 minutes. Remove from the stove, add cinnamon and forest fruits, sweeten, and let it warm.
Place the rested dough on a floured counter. Roll out a round and thin dough with the help of a rolling pin. Sprinkle the fruit mixture evenly over the dough with the help of a spoon. Grasp both ends of the dough and wrap it into a roll. Place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 20–25 minutes. Take it out of the oven and sprinkle powdered sugar on it while it is hot. Serve warm with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream.
Thank you.
