Ingredients

  • 200 g macaroni pasta (cooked)

For the mac and cheese sauce:

  • 7 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Half a cup of grated Gruyere cheese
  • Half a cup of grated mozzarella
  • Half a cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

For the topping:

  • 1 pinch of roasted panko or breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch of pickled Mexican pepper
  • 1 pinch of chives

Instructions

  1. Add butter to the pan, and after it has melted, add flour and roast it. After the roasting, add the milk. 
  2. After adding all the cheeses one by one, grate the nutmeg. After adding salt and pepper, the mac & cheese sauce is ready. 
  3. If it thickens, you can dilute it with milk. You should add salt and pepper in a balanced amount. 
  4. Put it on a baking dish or a cast iron serving plate, put it in a high-temperature oven at 250 degrees, and take it out of the oven when it turns golden brown.
