Salmon With Pears

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of salmon
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 2 teaspoons of marjoram
  • 2-3 sprigs of parsley
  • 4 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 3 sprigs of fresh tarragon
  • 2 teaspoons of black pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 pears
  • 40 g butter
Salmon With Pears

Instructions

  1. Put the celery stalk, peeled and sliced lemon, marjoram, parsley, thyme, tarragon, black pepper, and salt in a large pot.
  2. After boiling, reduce the heat, add the salmon, and cook for 20 minutes. Remove it from the stove and let it cool. 
  3. After the salmon has cooled, remove it from the water and place it on a serving plate.
  4. Wash and peel the pears. Remove the seeds, slice them into 6 half moons, and sauté them in butter in a large skillet for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Spread the pears on the bottom of a serving plate. Place the salmon on top.
  6. Pour the water in which you cooked the fish and serve hot.
