Lemon Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 275 g granulated sugar
  • 600 ml of water
  • Grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup of lemon juice
  • 30 g powdered sugar

For decoration:

  • Lemon zest
  • Mint leaf

Instructions

  1. Pour granulated sugar and water into a pot and cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Boil for 5–6 minutes when it dissolves.
  2. Remove it from the stove and let it cool.
  3. Mix the sugar syrup and grated lemon rind in a bowl. Add the lemon juice and powdered sugar.
  4. Put the mixture in the freezer for one night. Divide into mugs with an ice cream spoon. Garnish with lemon peels and mint leaves, and serve.
