Ingredients

  • 500 gr. flour
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 1 cup of warm milk

Instructions

  1. Combine the liquid ingredients in a bowl and whisk.
  2. Blend the baking powder and flour.
  3. Start kneading the dough and adding the liquids gradually.
  4. After the dough comes together, knead it for another 10 minutes and leave it to rest.
  5. Rest the baklava dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  6. You can prepare the baklava you wish by dividing it into meringues.

  • Rolling out the baklava on a starchy countertop will make your process easier.
  • Make sure that the ingredients you use for the dough are at the same temperature.
  • Add the liquids slowly, and add flour if necessary.
