Hawaiian Butter Mochi

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
  • 450 grams of rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 400 grams of granulated sugar
  • 400 ml of coconut milk
  • 5 g sugar vanillin

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Lightly grease a square cake mold, line it with baking paper, and start the recipe.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the rice flour, baking powder, vanillin, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until fluffy and colored. Add the coconut milk and butter, and continue whisking. Gradually add the dry mixture to make a dough.
  4. Pour the cake mixture into the prepared container and bake for about 1 hour.
  5. Cool the baked cake and serve. If you wish, you can prepare sauce for it and serve it with coconut. Enjoy your meal.
