The Welsh cake, originally from the United Kingdom, is made with flour, milk, spices, and currants. One of the traditional recipes of Wales, this cake was made by the wives of miners in the old days and was made to be easy to carry in their pockets and to be hearty.
Welsh cake goes well with breakfast and tea, and you can serve it plain or with different jams. If the ingredients are ready, we can move on to the traditional Welsh cake recipe.
