  1. First, knead the salt, sugar, butter, and oil in a stand mixer.
  2. Add flour, yeast, and water, and knead the dough until it has a smooth consistency.
  3. Divide the dough into pieces, roll them, and let them rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the rested dough, put butter inside, and wrap them.
  5. After this process, give the final shape and leave it to ferment at room temperature for at least 50 minutes.
  6. Apply egg yolk on top of pieces and sprinkle black cumin then bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
  7. Enjoy your meal.

  • The consistency of the dough should be neither too soft nor too hard. It should be of medium consistency.
  • The dough should be rolled out well.
  • It should rest well while we give the dough its final shape; otherwise, it will not be layered. 
  • The resting process is very important when preparing the dough. Do not neglect to cover the dough and let it rest both before and after shaping.
  • For the yeast to dissolve more quickly, make sure that the ingredients you will use are at room temperature.
  • You can add a teaspoon of baking soda to make the rolls softer.
  • Preheat the oven so that the dough cooks evenly.
  • You can add curd cheese, cheddar cheese, or olives to the filling.
