Mix the yeast, salt, and sugar with half a glass of warm water and leave it for 10 minutes.
Put the yeast mixture into the dough-kneading bowl. Add the melted, warm margarine or butter and the remaining half a glass of water. Achieve a soft but dense dough by adding as much flour as you need.
Shape the dough into a ball and cover it. Leave it in a warm place for about half an hour until it rises. Knead it once more before preparing the pitas.
