  Expert Tips
  • Before setting the bulgur aside, add lemon juice and mix it. Thus, you can ensure that the sourness is permanent.
  • The temperature of the water you will add to the bulgur is very important. Cold water causes the bulgur not to swell sufficiently, while hot water causes the kisir to be runny. Therefore, prefer lukewarm water.
  • After mixing water and bulgur, do not forget to put a lid on it.
  • Pour the pomegranate syrup, which goes well with bulgur, before serving. In this way, you can get its aroma in a better way.
  • You can serve it hot if you wish.
  • You can add fresh herbs, such as dill or other fresh herbs, according to your taste.
