  1. Put the potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until half-boiled, about 6-7 minutes; drain well and leave to cool.
  2. Grate the potatoes and drain the potatoes completely, taking out as much of the water as possible, and put them in a different bowl.
