  1. In a deep bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar with a mixer.
  2. Then continue whisking the milk, oil, and yogurt.
  3. Finally, sift the flour, vanilla, and baking powder and whisk until you get a homogeneous consistency.
  4. Grease the medium-sized clamp cake mold, add the cake mixture to it, and bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 30 to 35 minutes.
  5. Take the cake out of the oven on the counter and let it cool.
  6. For the cream, add sugar, milk, starch, flour, and egg yolks to a deep saucepan and stir continuously over medium heat until you get a custard consistency.
  7. After it starts to boil, remove it from the stove, add the butter and vanilla, and keep stirring until the butter melts.
  8. Stretch it so that it does not form a crust, and set it aside to come to room temperature. Cut the cooled cake in half lengthwise.
  9. Add all the cream to the bottom base of the cake, spread it well, and arrange the strawberry slices on the cream.
  10. Cover the other half of the cake and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  11. Before serving, sprinkle powdered sugar over the strawberry German cake and decorate it with strawberries. Bon Appetit!
