Mapo tofu, which is associated with Chinese cuisine, is a versatile dish. Tofu, minced meat, soy sauce, and sesame oil are used in its preparation.   1. First, mix the red chili powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Cut the tofu into cubes. Be careful not to break it.
  3. Heat water in a pot and add a pinch of salt.
  4. Add the tofu to the boiling water. After cooking for 2 minutes, drain and remove the tofu.
  5. Heat a skillet and add vegetable oil to it. Add the minced meat, and fry it until it turns brown.
  6. Remove the meat and set it aside. Add the chili bean paste to the oil and fry for a few minutes. 
  7. When it turns red, add douchi, ginger, green onion, and garlic and cook for 1 minute. 
  8. Add the water to it. Add soy sauce, sugar, and half of the minced meat to the pan. 
  9. Cook the boiling water for another 4 minutes. Then add the tofu. 
  10. Add chili oil and chili flakes. 
  11. In another bowl, mix the cornstarch and 250 ml of water. After removing the lumps, add the mixture to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.
  12. Add the remaining minced meat and mix well. Add roasted sesame oil and mix. 
  13. Put the mapo tofu on the serving plate. Enjoy your meal.
