  1. First, grate the onion and squeeze the juice out of it. Use only the pulp.
  2. Add the onion pulp to the minced meat.
  3. Add olive oil, salt, baking powder, baking soda, lemon juice, and bread crumbs and start kneading.
  4. Let the minced meat rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Then take it out of the fridge and knead it a few more times.
  5. Pick large pieces from the minced meat mixture and place them on the counter. Roll it with your hands in a long, thin shape and give it a flat shape.
  6. After shaping, use a knife to cut the minced meat mixture into two or three pieces.
