  1. Combine the milk and cream in a medium saucepan. Heat until foam forms around the edges. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  2. Whisk the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. Gradually add the warm milk and cream mixture, and whisk while whisking.
  3. Add the coffee mixture, bring the mixture back to the saucepan, and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes.
  4. Pass the mixture through a fine sieve and cool it to room temperature.
  5. Beat the mixture with a mixer and put it in the freezer.
  6. Take the mixture out of the freezer every half hour and continue whisking.
  7. Continue the process until it thickens, and your ice cream will be ready. Enjoy!
