Beef stroganoff will taste much better if you cook it in a cast-iron skillet. For the sauce to serve with the beef stroganoff, you can mix red wine, cream, salt, and sunflower seed oil.
Heat the sunflower seed oil in a pan. Chop the onions and sauté them. Cut the tenderloins into julienne pieces and add them to the onion. Cook by stirring occasionally.
Add the chopped mushrooms and gherkins, and cook for a few more minutes. Add wine, salt, and pepper to taste.
Before removing it from the stove, add the cream and cook for five more minutes. Place on a serving plate and serve with rice pilaf upon request.
